when applying to ELGU

To apply for a program, students must first review the application form and its requirements to ensure the collection of appropriate material. By the time they have gathered all documentation they should proceed with payment of the onetime, non-refundable application fee either at the relevant online portal or via a bank transfer.

Students should always add their surname, initial letter of their first name and Degree title in the deposit description.

They can then proceed with their application which can only be conducted online and submit it along with the supporting documentation. All support documents must be in electronic format and uploaded to be sent with the application, except for the reference letters, which should be emailed directly from Referees to the relevant program e-mail address.

Scanned Passport or ID with photo
Scanned or electronic file of your academic degree or transcript
Scanned or electronic file of your Proficiency of English
Personal Statement (400 words) - with Scholarship request if applicable
Motivation Letter (400 words) - for Summer School applications
Research Proposal (min 1000 words) - for Research Degree applications
Reference contact details - references to be sent directly to the ELGU

Step 7. Provide us with information about your professional experience

Add details of any relevant employment, internships, voluntary work or professional activities.

Step 8. Provide us with a Personal Statement / Research Proposal / Motivation Letter (depends on study level/ program)

Prepare and either paste or upload the document(s) required for your chosen programme and level of study.

Step 9. Provide us with reference contact information (we will contact them directly)

Enter the details of your referees so that we can contact them directly.

Step 10. Review the information entered and sign your application

Check that all information is complete and correct before signing and submitting your application.
