As ELGU becomes an Erasmus+ Host Institution, staff and faculty will be able to participate in mobility activities that strengthen professional development, enhance teaching quality, and deepen international cooperation.
Staff mobility reflects the core values of Erasmus+: openness, exchange, and the sharing of knowledge across borders. Through the EPLO network and ELGU’s supranational academic mission, mobility opportunities will contribute to a richer learning environment for students and a stronger academic community.
Teaching Mobility (Faculty)
Faculty members may undertake short teaching assignments at partner universities across Europe. These visits allow ELGU academics to:
- Share expertise in European law, governance, and public administration
- Deliver lectures, seminars, or workshops
- Collaborate with international colleagues
- Contribute to curriculum development
- Strengthen ELGU’s academic partnerships
Teaching mobility typically lasts 2 days to 2 months, depending on the agreement with the host institution.
Faculty interested in teaching mobility will work with the ELGU Erasmus+ Office to:
- Identify partner universities
- Prepare a Mobility Agreement for Teaching
- Coordinate course content and teaching hours
- Arrange travel and accommodation
- Receive Erasmus+ financial support according to program rules
Training Mobility (Administrative & Academic Staff)
Administrative and academic staff may participate in Erasmus+ training mobility to enhance their professional skills. Training activities may include:
- Job shadowing
- Workshops and seminars
- Skills development courses
- Participation in international administrative networks
- Visits to partner institutions to exchange best practices
Training mobility helps staff strengthen competencies in areas such as student services, admissions, communications, academic administration, and international cooperation.
Mobility periods typically last 2 days to 2 months, depending on the training program.
Staff will work with the Erasmus+ Office to:
- Select a host institution or training provider
- Prepare a Mobility Agreement for Training
- Define learning objectives
- Arrange logistics and funding
Incoming Staff & Visiting Faculty
ELGU welcomes incoming staff and faculty from partner universities who wish to teach, train, or collaborate at one of the School’s campuses in:
- Athens (Legrena), Greece
- Rome, Italy
- Cascais, Portugal
Incoming mobility participants benefit from:
- Access to ELGU classrooms, facilities, and EPLO resources
- Opportunities to deliver guest lectures or workshops
- Participation in academic events, conferences, and seminars
- Collaboration with resident and visiting faculty
- Engagement with ELGU’s international student community
Incoming staff will receive support with:
