Students can reach out to the ELGU team for help with day‑to‑day academic matters, administrative questions, and general support related to their program. Our staff is available to assist with course information, scheduling, documentation, and other practical needs that arise during the academic year.

In addition, students benefit from being part of the wider EPLO community, which offers access to events, lectures, and opportunities that complement the ELGU academic experience.

Internships

The ELGU Internship Program is designed for students and alumni of the School’s higher education programs. It serves as a bridge between the academic community of the ELGU and the wider EPLO system, helping participants apply their knowledge in practice and develop skills that support their transition from study to work.

Through the ELGU and EPLO network, students may access internship opportunities with a range of partner organizations, such as:

  • The EPLO Delegation to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland
  • The Permanent Mission of Greece to the UN in New York and in Athens
  • The International Organization for Migration
  • The Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • The EPLO Academy of Transparency & Human Rights
  • The Athens Public International Law Center (AthensPIL)

In line with each student’s academic program and career objectives, they work with the ELGU Internship Placement Coordinator to identify suitable options and make the most of their experience.

Through this program, the EPLO also offers internship opportunities for ELGU students and graduates at its premises in Sounion, Greece, where the ELGU is hosted, as well as potentially at other EPLO branches.

These internships are intended to complement the educational experience gained at ELGU with practical exposure, to familiarize students with the work of the EPLO (its structure, objectives and activities), and to support the development of their professional and leadership skills.

Career Development

Beyond internships, ELGU encourages students to think proactively about their career paths. Depending on availability and resources, students may benefit from:

  • Guidance from faculty and staff on academic and professional choices
  • Occasional workshops or events that touch on skills relevant to law and governance
  • Connections to the broader EPLO and partner‑institution network
