Lecture on U.S. political and electoral system

On November 25, 2024, the European Law & Governance School (ELGU) students had the opportunity to follow an extracurricular lecture delivered by Prof. Nikolaos Zahariadis, Professor of International Studies at Rhodes College, regarding the recent US presidential elections and the global consequences of its results.

Following Prof. Zahariadis’ 40 min lecture, a vibrant discussion unfolded, delving into the structure of U.S. elections and the global consequences deriving from it, as well as the politics of different countries of the world including the economy, the trade, and the countries’ relations.

This engaging session exemplifies the ELGU’ commitment to fostering critical thinking and global awareness among its students.
