The ELGU organizes a series of lectures every year for its students but also open to the public. Thomas Perroud, professor of Public Law and a Humboldt Fellow at Humboldt University Berlin, will deliver an open lecture on Friday, January 26th at 15:00 (Athens Time Zone) entitled “Power Relations Inside and Outside Constitutional Courts: The French Case” and will analyse how the French Constitutional Council works and the questions it raises.
The lecture is open to the public and will be held in English both in situ, at the EPLO (European Public Law Organization) premises at the Roman Agora and online.

Thomas Perroud
Professor of Public Law at Panthéon-Assas University and Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation A graduate of HEC and Sciences Po Paris, Thomas Perroud holds a doctorate in public law from the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a PhD from the University of Warwick. He was successively lecturer at the Université Paris-Est and professor at the Université Aix-Marseille (Institut Louis Favoreu). He is now at the Université Panthéon-Assas (CERSA). He has been a visiting professor at the Universities of Rome 2 and 3, Oxford (Saint John’s College), Humboldt (Berlin) and Bocconi. He was Deputy Director of the Comparative Administrative Law Program at Yale Law School.
