I am extremely grateful to the ELGU for having given me the opportunity to further specialize and develop my knowledge in the field of international affairs and, particularly, on India, which is perfectly in line with my academic specialization in South Asian studies. The post-graduate Master of Studies program I have pursued was completely tailor-made for me and this has been an invaluable experience.

When I first arrived at ELGU, I was not aware of my full potential nor of the opportunities that would unfold before me. Studying with world-leading experts and benefiting from an intense high quality program, made my overall experience so far unique. With activities and offered internships provided from ELGU international network, I had the chance to develop my academic and professional skills. This University provides students seeking for an international career with the best assets possible

ELGU is an incredible University. I know this from first hand as I have graduated in July 2021 with a PhD in Law. During my PhD studies I had the opportunity to be taught and supervised by distinguished professors and leading experts of the field and I was equipped with skills which were proven essential for the next steps of my career. Since October 2021, I am a Lecturer in International Economic Law and Human Rights at the Department of History, Politics and International Studies at Neapolis University Pafos. The international presence of the ELGU, the research foundations that it provides, and its lively academic community make it a perfect environment not only for research studies but for everyone who wants to extend their knowledge foundations and develop their career.

The ELGU Master of Studies stands out with its distinguished uniqueness. During this one-year program, a new horizon opened up for me in the research world, in which I found my true passion. I personally felt the degree course was extremely rewarding, due to the fact that it gave me a number of skills that I will certainly use to get the work done in my future endeavours. Working closely with my supervisor on my research project went far beyond my expectations and I could not be more satisfied with the educational experience I had at the ELGU in Athens

I chose the master’s in governance at ELGU for its strong focus on policymaking, international relations, and strategic governance. Given my background in social work, this program bridges theory and practice, equipping me with the skills to shape policies that have a meaningful impact on communities globally. For prospective students aiming to design policies that will have a meaningful impact globally, ELGU is your Choice.

ELGU helped me achieve my career goals in an international environment by providing me with an internationally recognized degree that strengthened my academic and professional profile. I always aspired to pursue a PhD at Sant’Anna University and to work for an EU agency. Today, I am fulfilling both dreams—I am currently a PhD candidate in Human Rights, Global Politics, and Sustainability, and I work as a legal assistant at EFSA.

The intellectual environment fostered by ELGU, combined with the academic rigor and the support of my professors, helped me feel confident in pursuing my personal career goals. The skills I acquired through the program continue to guide my professional path, and I am grateful for the experience that ELGU has provided paving my way to research and guest lecturing.

The European Law and Governance University played a pivotal role in advancing my career goals, particularly in the area of digital regulation and EU law. Winning a scholarship to fund my studies was a significant step in pursuing my ambitions to graduate in the ELGU appealing environment, and the knowledge I gained through the program has directly contributed to my work as a researcher.

This program offers a solid understanding of EU law, its institutional framework, and its impact on member states and elsewhere. The LLB in EU Law degree program is one of the best in that it offers an overview of the EU legal order, which is essential for developing the professional skills necessary for a career in international or EU law.

What I valued most about my time at the ELGU was how the program blended academic and legal education with real-world applicability. The international environment and practical focus - through case studies, interactive learning, and direct engagement with EU professionals - created a dynamic learning experience that went beyond traditional classroom instruction.

Hi my name is Sarra Ajroud, I’m a 21 years old student from Tunisia. I am currently enrolled in the MA in Governance program within the ELGU. Before coming here I did my BA in public law but deep down I’ve always wanted to continue my studies in Political Sciences, that is why I chose the MA in Governance program. Studying within the ELGU is a great experience, the courses are very effective, the professors are very helpful and I have learned and gained so much knowledge from the very start. On the plus side, living in Athens is a far greater experience. I think it’s an amazing city for students as you get to unravel both the ancient Greece culture and the Modern European lifestyle.

What ELGU really excels at is providing students with the opportunity to pursue education that will allow them to acquire specific skills and professional growth. I'm thankful to the community of ELGU for the support and grateful for the great professors who encourage you all the way and challenge you to aim higher. Not to forget the moment you enter the premises of ELGU , you just fall in love with the grandeur and beauty of its old building rich with culture and history.

I think it’s okay to say I was quite nervous when I first started at the ELGU. Nervous about the course and nervous about making friends. What really put me at ease though was when I first arrived at the campus in Sounion was the fact that all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and supporting. All in all, I enjoy that our School is of a small size because it allows students to really get to know their lecturers. The School as a whole demonstrates a willingness to support and help us out along the way. If we take into account the fact that we are creating new Societies for students to participate in, I believe that it is an excellent place to study and I recommend it to anyone.

The quest for knowledge might be a lifelong journey that leads our steps to remarkable destinations that make our dreams come true. ELGU is definitely a place that broadens the horizons of its students and provides them with the necessary tools of achieving their goals and quenching their thirst to learn. Studying in ELGU is an unforgettable experience due to the combination of high quality education and a marvelous atmosphere that promotes learning. What else to wish for?

If you are contemplating to participate in a summer school, this summer school is by far the best one for a first experience. Either way I can strongly recommend applying for this summer school – it will be a truly enriching experience and you will definitely not regret it.
