ELGU Welcomes UCL Master’s Students for Academic Mobility Program in Athens

The European Law and Governance University (ELGU), an academic entity of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), today welcomed 15 master’s students from the Université Catholique de Lille (UCL) to its premises in Plaka, marking the launch of a two-month academic mobility program taking place in January and February 2026.

The program was jointly developed and implemented by UCL and EPLO/ELGU and forms part of the curriculum of the Master’s in EU Law & Litigation. It aims to provide students with advanced training in European Union law through an academically rigorous and internationally oriented learning experience.

The program opened with the lecture “Practice of European Litigation before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU)”, delivered by Professor George Georges Vallindas, introducing students to the practical dimensions of EU litigation.

During their stay in Athens, students will attend intensive courses taught by ELGU Resident and Visiting Faculty, combining theoretical knowledge with practical insight into European legal practice and governance.

ELGU is pleased to host the UCL students and looks forward to a productive academic exchange.
